ABOUT THE POET, KATHERINE S. TULLIE

Poetry has been a part of my life for many years. I am a former teacher. Educating children was a passion of mine. I bring the same passion for teaching and working for change to my poetry. I have a strong musical background. Many of my poems are written with a beat. I am also a photographer. Many of my poems are illustrated with my photographs. Over the years I have traveled extensively, both domestically and abroad. I feel that my poetry is a reflection of my life experiences. My hope is that my poems are like seeds that will grow in the hearts and minds of others.  I also enjoy sharing nature’s beauty with my photography. All of the poetry photographs on this website are my original creations.
