One Step At A Time

Let’s walk through life taking one step at a time

I am sharing with you this special rhyme

Life has many ups and downs

It is enough to throw us to the ground

We must take a deep breath as we move along

Always trying to do right and not wrong

When something hits us hard in our life

Causing us unavoidable strife

Try to take things in stride

Having your prayers on your side

Let’s handle things one day at a time, I say

We will be better off each and every day

So when life throws us a curve ball

Let’s step up to life like we’re ten feet tall

We can solve one thing at a time, for sure

There can be less we have to endure

Look towards the light at the end of the tunnel, I say

Keep a positive attitude and you will see the light of the day!
