We Are Everyday People

As we walk through life every day

We come across all kinds of people in all kinds of ways

Let’s place our best foot forward to all we meet

Let us be positive to all we greet

Enjoy the unique differences of each person we see

Like a special rainbow of colors for you and for me

We are all everyday people, for sure

Let’s spread unconditional love for this is a cure

Let us all see the oneness we have in common in our lives

We’re all in this together and for this we should strive

Let all pull together as we move along

Having love in our hearts a positive song

Let’s come together like a family of friends

This is a message we all must send

Strength comes in numbers they say

Seeing our similarities will save the day

With an open mind to all we greet

Unconditional love will open the floodgates so sweet!
